Broadcast's Evolving Relevance
With the NBC network celebrating its 70th anniversary, we are reminded that television and radio are legacy mediums. So much so, that they are occasionally referred to as dinosaurs. Nothing could be further from the truth. Unlike dinosaurs, broadcast has evolved to remain relevant.
Alabama Broadcasters Association President Sharon Tinsley reminded us of some significant milestones in broadcast history but, more importantly, she showed what to expect in the future.
As part of her PowerPoint presentation, she showed us (see graphic) how often Americans see fake news and which news outlets are most credible.
