Speaker to discuss developing custom content

At AMP's January meeting, Carolyn Magner Mason, senior director of content for Randall-Reilly, a major provider of news and information for the construction, trucking and agricultural industries, will discuss how to develop custom content for your clients. In general, custom content is branded content a business uses to communicate with its existing and/or potential customers. Mason's talk will include topics such as creating a persona, doing research, doing a deep dive into customers' pain points, creating content to drive leads and most popular content types. Mason has been a freelance contributor for national trucking, landscape, and construction publications for two decades. She’s also been an editor/contributor for a local city publication (Tuscaloosa Magazine), and has freelanced for digital publications such as Daily Candy, Salon, FineLine, Flat Iron Media, Christian Science Monitor, Health and Runner’s World. Along with her editorial projects, Mason began creating custom content packages for some of Randall-Reilly’s trucking and construction customers including Mack, Volvo, CAT, Shell, Chevron, Michelin and others. In 2014, she became a full-time content director for the Randall-Reilly marketing department and has been responsible for developing custom projects that include print, digital newsletters, videos, podcasts, whitepapers, downloadable lead-gen content, blog content and photography. She currently lives in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and works remotely for Randall-Reilly, which is based in Tuscaloosa. The meeting will take place via Zoom on Jan. 14 at 11:30 a.m. Click here or the button below to RSVP via Evite. We will email you a link to the Zoom meeting.
